Join Us August 19 for the Final AAALAC Preparation Town Hall

Join the Animal Care & Use Team for the Final AAALAC Preparation Town Hall on Wednesday, August 19 from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM to learn about final Site Visit preparations, how to approach Site Visitor questions, what to expect during the Site Visit, and a last-minute Q & A.
Please note that the information shared at this session will be similar to what was shared during the Town Hall on July 27; therefore, you do not need to attend both sessions.
However, please encourage anyone who may have missed the first Town Hall, or who has any last-minute questions about the Site Visit, to join us on August 19.
As a reminder, the AAALAC 2020 Site Visit is scheduled to occur Tuesday, August 25 through Friday, August 28. During this time, you should anticipate a visit to all animal housing locations as well as visits to many laboratories.
**Upon submitting your RSVP, you will receive a confirmation email with login instructions for the meeting.
Valid Level-1 U-M login credentials will be required to access the meeting via Zoom.

All eight previous Virtual AAALAC Chats on topics of interest and importance to the U-M research community have been archived for future viewing.
Topics include controlled substances, rat and mice euthanasia procedures, equipment cleaning and sanitization, surgical records, management of aquatics facilities, laboratory safety, protocol management, and tumor burden monitoring in rodents.

Finally, if you have not yet done so, please complete the AAALAC Laboratory Spokesperson Designation Form as soon as possible so that we know which members of your laboratory will be present and available to speak with the Site Visit Team.
