ULAM, ACUO Announce Winter 2020 Holiday Hours
Several service areas within the Animal Care & Use Program, including the Animal Care & Use Office (ACUO) and the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM), will be closed or operating at limited capacity during the upcoming holiday season.
Below is a list of operating schedules and plans for areas that may have a direct impact on researchers.
To ensure that your research needs are met quickly and efficiently, please review and share these schedules with your team, plan ahead, and act early.

| Animal Care & Use Office |
The Animal Care & Use Office (ACUO) will be closed beginning Wednesday, December 23, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021. Submissions to the IACUC will still be accepted through eRAM during this time period, but the ACUO will be unable to process them until the office re-opens on Monday, January 4, 2021. |

Animal Ordering and Deliveries
|
Final animal deliveries will be received on Thursday, December 17, 2020. There will be no animal deliveries beginning Friday, December 18, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021. The deadline for ordering animals to arrive during the first week of January (Monday, January 4 – Friday, January 8, 2021) is Friday, December 18, 2020. |

Animal Surgery
Operating Rooms (ASOR) |
The Animal Surgery Operating Rooms (ASOR) will be closed Friday, December 25, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021. |

|
In-Vivo Animal Core (IVAC)
|
Both In-Vivo Animal Core (IVAC) laboratories at NCRC and ARF will close for sample submission AND pick-ups at 12:00 PM (noon) on Thursday, December 24.
Please be aware that not all services will be available on Thursday, December 24, and no services will be performed during the time that IVAC is closed (Friday, December 25, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021).
If you have samples that cannot sit over the break, please plan accordingly and submit early. Sample submission and pick-up is available by appointment only and should be scheduled in advance via the IVAC website.
Labs will re-open on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 8:00 AM (NCRC) and 9:00 AM (ARF).

The ULAM Training Core will be closed Friday, December 25, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021, unless prior arrangements have been made with Kiirsa Pokryfke, Managing Director Training Core. |

ULAM Business Office
|
The ULAM Business Office will be closed Friday, December 25, 2020 – Friday, January 1, 2021. The office will re-open at 8:00 AM on Monday, January 4, 2021. |
