Profile

Dr. Yang obtained her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Michigan State University, a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Texas A&M University, and returned to Michigan State University to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

She was first introduced to research after working in a cancer institute and was drawn to the importance of working toward bettering human and animal health. During veterinary school, Dr. Yang completed summer research fellowships in Influenza and perinatal and neurodevelopmental infections. 

 

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Yang’s research interests include animal surgical models, pain management, and infectious diseases.
