Fall 2019 Faculty Vet Check-Ins Conclude

ULAM Faculty Veterinarian Check-In dialogue iconAs part of our ongoing efforts to keep the U-M research community apprised of important updates and changes happening within the Animal Care & Use Program, Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) Faculty Veterinarians will be hosting Faculty Vet Check-Ins yellow lock icon in animal care facilities across campus throughout November and December 2019.

In addition to sharing important information about upcoming changes happening within the Animal Care & Use Program, ULAM Faculty Veterinarians will also be discussing facility-specific issues at each Check-In.

Specific topics of interest include:

  • Preparing for the AAALAC 2020 Site Visit
  • Peri-operative records
  • Tumor monitoring
  • Sanitization guidelines
  • Drug reminders and updates
  • Electronic medical records
  • Misc. vivarium reminders and updates

We are committed to fostering a more collaborative, partnership-based approach to animal care in our facilities. As such, we encourage at least one member of each laboratory to attend the Check-In hosted by their facility veterinarian and to bring any questions or concerns specific to your research projects and/or animal care to our attention.

Please note that RSVPs are NOT required.
