Virtual AAALAC Chat: Laboratory Safety & Animal Research
Continued excellence in animal care and use, and in research, takes continued collaboration.
Join the Animal Care & Use Team, along with colleagues from other partner departments, as we continue preparations for the upcoming AAALAC 2020 Site Visit in August.
Co-hosted by Jessica Bunn, BS, Safety Specialist in the Department of Environment, Health, and Safety's Research Health & Safety Group, and Lisa Steiner, BS, CMAR, RLATG, Animal Safety Coordinator, the Virtual AAALAC Chat: Laboratory Safety & Animal Research will explore the intersection of laboratory/occupational health and safety and the conduct of responsible animal research, with an emphasis on guidance and best practices for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both animals and research personnel.
Virtual AAALAC Chats are short, 30-minute sessions that provide a quick overview and resources on specific topics of interest and importance to the U-M research community.
