Winter 2019 Faculty Vet Check-Ins Conclude
As part of our ongoing efforts to keep the U-M research community apprised of important updates and changes happening within the Animal Care & Use Program, Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) Faculty Veterinarians will be hosting Faculty Vet Check-Ins in animal care facilities across campus throughout January and February 2019.
In addition to discussing facility-specific issues at each Check-In, Faculty Veterinarians will also be covering several areas of interest to the larger U-M animal care and use community, including:
- Tumor monitoring
- Hazards use
- Euthanasia methods
- Sanitizing equipment
- Vivarium operations and reminders

We are committed to providing a personalized, partnership-based approach to veterinary care in our facilities. As such, we encourage at least one member of each laboratory to attend the Check-In hosted by their facility veterinarian. Please note that RSVPs are NOT required.
