Research & Academic Safety Town Hall
Hosted by members of the Facilities & Operations, EHS, and UMMS Regulatory Affairs Teams, this virtual town hall (passcode: 106050) will feature a discussion and Q&A on a variety of topics, including:
- Standard Operating Procedure Updates
- Minors in laboratories
- Lithium batteries
- Transport of Biological Materials & Dry Ice, including M-Ship, the Bio Research Shuttle, and Customs and Border Protection permit audits
- Bonus content – Chemical Transport at U-M
- Chemical Labeling & GoldFFX Database (Chemwatch)
The Research & Academic Safety Town Hall represents a joint collaboration between LS&A, College of Pharmacy, Life Sciences Institute, College of Engineering, and the U-M Medical School, with special thanks to the Department of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and the U-M Research & Academic Safety Committee.
Please note that registration is not required to attend, and meeting materials will be shared after the event.
