Dr. Kujiraoka received her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Stephens College and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri.
She was first introduced to research during her undergraduate studies when she worked in a crocodilian reproduction lab investigating the role of egg incubation temperatures on hatchling anatomy. During veterinary school, Dr. Kujiraoka completed summer research projects in tick epidemiology and chronic stress in hospitalized wild raptors.
