Virtual Office Hours FAQs

  • The Remote Office Hours Queue uses the Zoom videoconferencing platform to connect attendees with meeting hosts (members of the Animal Care & Use Program Team)
  • Attendees are not required to have Zoom accounts to meet over Zoom; however, all attendees must be able to log in with U-M Level-1 login credentials to access the Remote Office Hours Queue and to view an individual team member’s queue/availability.

If you would like to request a specific meeting day/time outside of the regular “drop in” office hours listed above, please email the individual you would like to meet with to request a separate meeting. Our Personnel Directory can be sorted by name, unit affiliation, or role.

Meeting times will vary depending on the nature and complexity of your question(s). We expect most meetings to be relatively short (e.g., no more than ~20 minutes) to address task or process-specific questions.

No, meetings are never recorded.

By default, meetings are private (e.g., one-on-one appointments) unless you or the host (a member of the Animal Care & Use Program Team) invites another individual into the Zoom meeting room after the meeting has already started.

Meeting settings, such as the ability to screen share, are managed at the discretion of the individual meeting host.
