In partnership with several cross-campus collaborators, the U-M Department of Environment, Health & Safety is hosting a FREE in-person workshop on Tuesday, May 6, for U-M researchers and staff who import or export biological materials.
The U.S. Customs & Border Protection Importation of Biologicals Workshop will include representatives from several federal government agencies who will share their responsibilities, discuss the regulatory and safety challenges of importing biological materials, explain how to prepare materials for proper transport, and outline what is required to apply for the necessary permits.
Light refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please note that pre-registration through U-M’s My LINC system is required for this event. The registration deadline is Friday, April 18.
