AAALAC Site Visit Dates Confirmed: June 13 – June 16, 2023

Site visitors from AAALAC International (AAALAC) will be on campus for the U-M’s re-accreditation site visit requires Level-1 U-M login credentials beginning Tuesday, June 13 through Friday, June 16, 2023.

During this time, you should anticipate a visit to all animal housing locations on campus, as well as visits to many laboratories.

As we work toward the collective goal of optimizing and refining our processes to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, it is incumbent upon all of us – as individuals and members of the U-M research community – to actively participate in preparations leading up to this important Site Visit.

Finally, please know that we are diligently working on a Site Visit Schedule, and will distribute this information as soon as it becomes available. As is customary, we anticipate releasing the final schedule approximately one week before the Site Visit.

We ask that you continue to remain vigilant to email and newsletter announcements in the coming weeks and months as we share additional details about the 2023 Site Visit.
