Aquatics Laboratories AAALAC Preparation Meeting yellow lock icon denoting level-1 U-M login required for access – Review materials and resources from the AAALAC Preparation Meeting hosted for aquatics users on Tuesday, May 26. Discussion topics included anesthesia and euthanasia methods for zebrafish and aquatic frogs, the use of expired drugs and other substances in animal-based research, and general AAALAC preparation.

The U-M’s next re-accreditation visit by AAALAC, International (AAALAC) will occur Monday, June 8 – Thursday, June 11, 2026. During this time, you should anticipate a visit to all animal housing locations as well as many laboratories.
