As part of the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine’s (ULAM) efforts to provide a collaborative, partnership-based approach to animal care at the U-M, ULAM Faculty Veterinarians will be hosting several check-in meetings at locations across campus
later this month.
In addition to discussing facility-specific needs, a variety of other topics will be covered, including:
- Overview of records requirements during procedures, including the launch of a new interactive tool
- Rules when combining animals for euthanasia
- Beyond Use Date reminders
- Changes to the Animal Handling Details in eRAM
- Preparing for AAALAC 2026
- Additional general updates
Time will also be set aside at the end of each meeting to address any specific questions or concerns attendees may have.
For convenience, in-person and hybrid meetings have been scheduled at multiple locations spanning several days and times. Meetings will begin on Friday, October 17, and run through Friday, October 31.
While we encourage one member from each laboratory to attend the meeting hosted by their facility’s ULAM Faculty Veterinarian, participants are welcome to attend the meeting that best fits their schedule.
Questions or concerns about ULAM Faculty Vet Check-In Meetings should be directed to the ULAM Business Office at [email protected].
We look forward to connecting with you this October!
