The Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) is pleased to welcome Dalis Collins, DVM, DACLAM, as our newest Faculty Veterinarian.
Dr. Collins brings a great deal of experience to the University of Michigan (U-M), including most recently serving as the Assistant Director of the Animal Resources Program and Alternate Responsible Official of the Regional Biocontainment Laboratory at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Collins completed her postdoctoral fellowship in laboratory animal medicine at the U-M in 2016 and received her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia in 2013.
In addition to her roles as ULAM Associate Professor and Faculty Veterinarian, Dr. Collins will also serve as the Program Director for the ABSL-3 Containment Laboratory.
