If you own or use a vaporizer/anesthetic machine that is due for its yearly maintenance and you would like the Animal Care & Use Office (ACUO) to coordinate the servicing on your behalf, please complete and submit the Authorization Form by Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Due to limited availability, servicing requests submitted after February 26 may not be fulfilled.
Please review the applicable service(s) and fees prior to completing the Authorization Form. Vetamac will be on campus to service machines beginning Wednesday, March 5, through Friday, March 7, 2025.
As a reminder, the Policy on Maintaining Anesthetic Machines and Vaporizers dictates that “assessments should be conducted on anesthesia machines and vaporizers at yearly intervals.”
Investigators are NOT required to utilize the ACUO service in order to comply with this policy. If desired, investigators can independently contract with an appropriate vendor to provide the service(s) as described in the policy.
