The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is currently accepting nominations for the Research Recognition Awards Program, which honors members of the U-M research community for their efforts to help advance knowledge, solve challenging problems, create new products, and enhance quality of life.
Research Staff Awards
The Research Staff Awards Program includes twelve categories that span a wide range of research functions, including technicians, administrators, study coordinators, staff support, facility and core services, leadership, and data management and analysis.
Award categories:
- Research Staff Leadership Recognition Award
- OVPR Research Leadership Recognition Award
- OVPR Exceptional Staff Recognition Award
- Research Study Coordinator/Manager Staff Recognition Award
- Research Associate/Assistant/Technician Recognition Award
- Research Data Management and Analysis Staff Recognition Award
- Research Staff Support Recognition Award
- Research Cores/Facilities Staff Recognition Award
- Research Administrator Recognition Award
- Outstanding New Research Administration Recognition Award
- Research Staff Safeguard Recognition Award
- Excellence in Research Safety Staff Recognition Award

Research Faculty Awards
The Research Faculty Awards Program celebrates faculty contributions to – and leadership in – their respective fields. Award categories include:

- Research Faculty Recognition Award
- Research Faculty Mentor Award
