Revised Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) husbandry per-diem rates will go into effect January 1, 2018.
We recognize that adjustments to per-diem rates have implications on grant budgets and project planning. To that end, these rates will continue to be re-evaluated on an annual basis to coincide with the end of each calendar year and are subject to change.
While ULAM will make every effort to prevent or minimize any fluctuation in these forecasted rates, you are strongly encouraged to follow standard best practices for baseline budgeting, which allow for incremental cost changes throughout multi-year grant projects.
