Research Re-Engagement Virtual Town Hall

Research Re-Engagement Virtual Town Hall IconResearch leadership from across the University of Michigan (U-M) will host a second Virtual Town Hall yellow lock icon from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM on Tuesday, June 2 to answer questions and provide guidance on research re-engagement efforts amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to participate to learn more about how U-M is safely ramping up research and scholarship through carefully managed waves, in accordance with state regulations.

Field-based research approvals and planning for human subjects research will also be addressed.

Panelists are all involved in the university’s ongoing pilot wave for research re-engagement.

Members of the U-M research community are encouraged to submit questions prior to the event. Questions may be submitted anonymously.

Please also refer to the Research Re-Engagement webpage, which includes guidelines and plans for how the U-M community can safely re-engage research amid COVID-19. Developed by the Research Ramp-up Committee and maintained by the U-M Office of Research (UMOR), guidelines cover many important details such as entry to laboratory/studio buildings and how many individuals can safely occupy research spaces.
