Second Annual GOLD Day
The Animal Care & Use Program is pleased to announce that its second annual GOLD Day will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Launched in 2023, GOLD Day is a unique opportunity for laboratories to set aside dedicated time for personnel to Go Organize, Label, and Dispose of drugs, medical materials, surgical supplies, agents, and other substances administered to – or used in – ANY animal procedure.

Members of the Animal Care & Use Program, along with our many cross-campus partners, are available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about the appropriate use of drugs and other substances in animal procedures.

Questions about the use of specific drugs or other medical materials in animals should be directed to your ULAM Faculty Veterinarian. If you don’t know your faculty veterinarian, send an inquiry to ulam-questions@umich.edu and your question will be routed appropriately.
