Lucy Kennedy Named Associate Director for Clinical Operations in ULAM

Lucy Kennedy, DVM, DACLAM, has been appointed to the role of Associate Director for Clinical Services in the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM).

The appointment was effective November 1, 2025.

As Associate Director for Clinical Services, Dr. Kennedy will have managing oversight of veterinary clinical operations and quality assurance. She will also continue to serve as Assistant Attending Veterinarian for the U-M.

Dr. Kennedy joined ULAM as a faculty veterinarian in July 2016 and was appointed Program Director of the Germ-Free Mouse Facility in Fall 2017. Kennedy received her veterinary degree from Michigan State University and completed her Diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (DACLAM) certification in 2016.

Prior to joining the ULAM faculty, Dr. Kennedy served as a Clinical Veterinarian at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
