Hosted by U-M Vice President for Research and Innovation & Institutional Official Arthur Lupia, PhD, and the Animal Care & Use Program Leadership Team, the AAALAC 2026 Site Visit Kickoff Meeting yellow lock icon denoting level-1 U-M login required for access will highlight important programmatic trends and insights as well as expectations for participation and preparation(s) leading up to the AAALAC 2026 Site Visit this Summer (i.e., June – August 2026).

For convenience, this meeting will also be livestreamed via Zoom webinar (U-M login credentials required). The Kickoff Meeting will be followed by the first-ever Community of Care Fair, a unique opportunity to engage with colleagues from across campus and explore best practices in laboratory animal care and use.

Attendance at either event is strongly encouraged. Also, if your laboratory has a unique approach to enhancing animal care and/or improving operations, please consider sharing your idea as part of the Community of Care Fair. Complete details are available via the AAALAC 2026 Kickoff Events RSVP page. yellow lock icon denoting level-1 U-M login required for access

All registrants will receive a confirmation email upon submitting an RSVP. This email will include details about attending the event in person and virtually via Zoom webinar (Kickoff Meeting only).

Please note: valid U-M login credentials are required to participate in both events.
