Profile
Dr. Goldia Chan began her studies at McGill University, where she was able to take part in various animal research projects ranging from understanding murine parasites to dolphin cognition studies. After graduating, she completed her veterinary education at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario.
During that time, she had the opportunity to work on a vaccine trial in an antibiotic-free swine production facility as well as visit several institutions as an extern to gain more experience in the field of laboratory animal medicine.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Chan’s research interests include large animal surgical models and pain management in laboratory species.
