Target Audience

Veterinarians specializing in laboratory animal medicine, especially those preparing for ACLAM board certification.

Registration

There is a $30.00 registration fee to attend. This fee includes participation in all activities - including optional study sessions, light refreshments at select events, and a parking pass. *

Interested participants must register by 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Registration should be completed via the Mock Board Examination and Laboratory Animal Seminar Series Registration Form.

Event Schedule

An optional, dedicated study day during which a board-certified laboratory animal veterinarian and a compendium of internal ACLAM board examination preparatory resources will be available for general review and consultation. This is a unique opportunity for focused study with ULAM review resources and faculty expertise to address questions in species biology, medicine, disease, and pathology.

No formal lecture sessions will be held, and attendance does not provide Continuing Education (CE) credit. Optional study sessions will take place in Room G064 located in Building 10 of the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC).Participants should enter through the Main Lobby located in NCRC Building 18.

* Note: Food and beverages will not be provided during optional study sessions. These items are available for purchase on-site and at a variety of nearby restaurants. Please see the Additional Information section below for more details.

All Thursday seminars, including optional evening study sessions, will take place in Room G064 located in Building 10 of the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC). Participants should enter through the Main Lobby located in NCRC Building 18.

Continuing Education Credit

This program 1123-36056 is approved by the AAVSB RACE to offer a total of 8.00 CE Credits (8.00 max) being available to any one veterinarian. The method of delivery is seminar/lecture.

This RACE approval is for the subject matter categories of:

  • Non-Medical Program

This approval is valid in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE; however, participants are responsible for ascertaining each board's CE requirements. RACE does not "accredit" or "endorse" or "certify" any program or person, nor does RACE approval validate the content of the program.
